        THE HAWKWOOD MEDIEVAL FANTASY FAIRE

        I would like to thank all the wonderful AFRers who spent much money and/or gave up much sleep to come out for invasion weekend. Your additional presences gave us just the boost we needed to have our best day ever on Saturday. I hope everyone had a great time. I would especially like to thank Mike Bonk, who brought out the RenGeek pins; Ivy, who coordinated the whole event from this end; and most especially, Avril Korman, who, to my knowledge, started the whole invasion thing (even though she couldn't make it). For those who couldn't make it, I hope that you can come out sometime in the future, and for those who did make it, I hope that you had enough fun to entice you to return. We'll be working hard 'till then to bring you the best faire possible.
