(UPPER LEFT) The Maypole at TRF, between the King's Carousel and the Dove Meadow Stage. Unfortunately, we must've missed the Maypole Dance somehow as the streamers are already tightly woven around the Pole in this view (photo by John Dunn). THE AQUEDUCT and waterwheel by the King's Carousel. It definitely helps to have more than one photographer doing Faire. The waterwheel appealed to me, but I just couldn't line up the shot precisely the way I wanted it. John, on the other hand, captured its' essence very well in this panoramic scene! A HORSEDRAWN CART shares the lane with fairegoers. Yet another instance where more than one photographer helps. In two days at TRF, I never saw this cart even once--yet Sean managed this excellent "grab" shot in his wanderings about the Faire grounds! (photo by Sean Eddings).
A FORESTER WINDS his horn as the evening shadows stretch long under the trees at TRF. The sound of horns was heard often as there was a vendor who sold both hunting and drinking horns in a variety of sizes and styles (photo by John Dunn).
