According to THE SCRIBE, the Texas Renaissance Festival has 19 stages, 250 vendors booths, a Performance Company of 120 actors and hosts more than 300,000 patrons during its seven-week run. In 1999, TRF will open on October 2nd and close on November 14th (weekends only). Closing time is dusk but regretfully, there are no official Closing Cermonies! To reach the Faire from Houston, take I-45 North to Route 1488 (Exit 81), follow Route 1488 West to Magnolia (18 miles), then take 1744 North to the site (6 miles).
