THE MINNESOTA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL - 1997-98
        by Jerome Jacobson

Steve (aka "Rudy"), on the left, and Brad, on the right, relax while on break with a little sword practice during the fourth weekend of the 1997 Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Gryphon, who worked at the Blue Lion Tavern, decided to dress as a wench for the final day of the 1997 Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Chris Ritt (aka "The Amazing Christopher") performing at the Treetop Stage, finds a new apprentice from the audience and fits him with the appropriate hat. This photo was taken on the closing day of the 1998 Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Chris removes the outer hat from his new apprentice, leaving the more "appropriate" hat in place. Yes, that is a toilet plunger up there!

Thad, the stockman on the left, teaches the "criminals" how to dance for their freedom with a rendition of the Renaissance Chorus Line. This view was taken on the final day of the 1998 Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
