        THE 1998 SCARBOROUGH RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
        by Frank Hui

Another fun piece is the daily chessmatch near the Ship's Stage! This combat is used to help settle the matter of Princess Mary's engagement. Sir Seymor has english nobles and pirates with MacThud as his queen on his side. Prince Hapnick is paired with Margaret, Queen Mother of Scotland, and has gypsies and wenches for his pieces. The match is composed of a wild blend of well-executed comedy and creatively-choreographed fights!

Delia the superwench vs Alexander Morgan, Captain of the ship, "Iron Maiden". First, she gets a grip (Photo, left), then it's "over her shoulder" for the hapless Captain (Photo, right).

Here Delia faces James Peregrine, pilot of the pirate ship, "Six of One" (Photo, left).
