THE NEW YORK RENAISSANCE FAIRE STERLING FOREST
        by Richard Washington

What's better than one Queen here at Sterling? TWO of them! And here be the second: Her Most Glorious Majesty, Mary, Queen of Scots (who closely resembles one Amy Fellers), with a few Mortals doing lunch in ye backgrounde.

Both Queens, with Lady Elizabeth Drake (Elena Bloom), as they, along with Baroness Gisella, Sir Thomas, His Lordship the Archbishop, and the Duke of Stamford (Marc Goldstein, not pictured) spent some quality time with several modern-day Mundaners in a unique question-and-answer session--which was, unquestionably, my most favorite part of the whole day! Considering that the conversation was quite friendly (especially the very witty repartee between Their Majesties, Elizabeth and Mary), I found myself wishing that ye session did not have to end.

From left to right: Sir Quenton Quibbleby (Douglas MacKrell); Lady Marion Fitzwalter (Kathy Krell); Lord Robert Devereaux of Essex (Dan O'Driscoll) and the Duchess of Stamford (Joyce Urwin). In ye foregrounde: Jenny Wren (Karen Komornick), a member of Robin Hood's entourage.

Up the Jolly Roger! The thrill of a pirate and his wench enjoying lunch tickles me fancy no end. Here be a study of ye fyne arte of this very pleasant bit o' fun!

The Black Prince (Manny Lieberman), on his way to his armoury booth, grins his nastiest evil grin for your Dragonmaster's camera. The Black Prince specializes in the finest, foulest, and most dangerous chainmail, armor and other accessories. The Black Prince has his own domain of destruction out on the Aether, www.badattitude.com, although it is not recommended for immature audiences.
