        THE 1998 TEXAS RENAISSANCE FAIRE
        by Frank Hui

When you catch the Rogues, you are also treated to some beautiful country-style dancing. Pictured are Kathleen and Katrina showing off their skill (Photo, Right). You will be hard pressed to find a pair of ladies more accomplished in this style of dance!

As mentioned earlier, Sherwood Forest has changed along with a new "Robin Hood" Show. The performance is quite fun and engaging as the Sheriff of Nottingham tries to bend both Robin and Maid Marion to his will (Photo, Below).

This season marked the first offical appearance of "The Corsairs" at TRF. While I've mentioned these guys in prior reports, I caught some terrific pics of their shows this year at TRF, some with very funny stories behind them. Such was the case of this photo with this child (Photo, Above). Her parents sent her over to buy a CD during one number. After that a successive wave of kids followed with money in their hands! Also, here is a shot from one of "The Corsairs" funniest numbers, "Barrets' Privateers" (Photo, Below). Large crowds gathered for their shows, with even the Royal Court showing up to watch!
